Today, we honor the spirit of sportsmanship and competition, and celebrate the dedication that fuels athletes to achieve excellence. National Sports Day is a reminder of how sports unite people, inspire them, and foster character in all participants.
At Sherwood High, our students exemplify these values every day through their commitment to sports. We're particularly proud of our Girls Under-17 Football team members, Dharani Patel IX A and Reneeka Gupta X A, who showcased discipline and determination on the national stage.
Our Sherwoodians also shone at the CISCE National Badminton Tournament held from August 15th to 18th in Yelahanka. Kushal Athreya's outstanding performance secured him a second-place finish in singles, a moment of great pride for our community! We congratulate Kushal and Mehul Manav for their spirited participation and unwavering dedication.
Arsh Walke from Grade 9 demonstrated exceptional skill in Lawn Tennis, taking home the third prize with his Bronze medal.
These achievements are a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship that define our students. They remind us of the lessons learned on the field as well as the bonds formed through shared passion and effort.
Let's cheer for our champions who are making their mark in the world of sports and inspire others with heart and soul!
